This treatment is a total of 75 minutes. It's a Registered Massage Therapy treatment that includes 30 minutes of Indie Head Massage. The non-Indie Head Massage part of the treatment can be on whatever areas you would like/areas that are bothering you.

Indie Head Massage is a massage therapy treatment that applies warm oil and essential oils to the scalp, hair, neck and shoulders using firm and relaxing therapeutic massage techniques. Hot stones are used throughout the treatment to deeply access muscles while maintaining a relaxing treatment, and small face cups are used to promote lymphatic drainage. All the techniques used in the treatment are within the scope of practice for massage therapy and can be claimed through insurance benefits. 

This treatment is extremely relaxing and is wonderful for stress relief. It can aid in the reduction and prevention of headaches, sinusitis and insomnia. It overall reduces muscle tension in the head, neck and shoulders and can help with TMJ pain. The oil is either jojoba oil or coconut oil, both of which are extremely nourishing for the hair and scalp. 

What to Expect from Indie Head Massage:
- Areas treated are: scalp, face, neck, shoulders, pecs
- Warm oil with your choice of one essential oil is used over your entire scalp, face and neck
- Hot stones and small face cups will be used throughout the treatment
- You will leave the treatment with oil in your hair and over your neck, face, shoulders and pecs. *I recommend you bring a warm toque that you don't mind getting a bit of oil on to wear after the treatment so your head doesn't get cold. If relevant, also bring a clip so you can secure your hair in a soft bun*
